At the Intermediate Level, it usually takes several courses to achieve the badge — the focus is on consistent practice. Most children reach their goal after about 2 to 3 semesters. What matters most is that your child has fun and feels safe.

Now it's about technique, coordination and endurance in all three main strokes.
The red SwimStar confirms that you are a safe swimmer. We work on refining all swimming styles and begin with more complex movement sequences. You learn to swim more efficiently and use your strength better.
What We Work On:
- 2 laps backstroke
- 2 laps breaststroke
- 2 laps crawl
- Dive from block + 5 m underwater swimming
- 1 lap butterfly kick

SwimStars Philosophy
Our SwimStars accompany children through their swimming education at Swim4Fun. They show which goals should be achieved in the current group and help children (and parents) understand what is currently being worked on.
When the goals of a badge are met, the child is ready for the next group.

- Does my child need to perfectly fulfill all goals?No, the SwimStars are guidance tools and motivation instruments. We ensure that basic skills are safely mastered before moving to the next level. Perfection is not expected – safety and enjoyment of swimming are the priority.
- When does my child receive the badge?The SwimStar badges are awarded at the end of the semester. Your course instructor will inform you in time when your child is ready to receive the next SwimStar. It's always a special moment for the children!
